Sympathetic Fluids is a film about communication methods. Sympathetic Fluids is a film about psychic snail sex. Sympathetic Fluids is a film about the internet. Using layered chroma key visualizations in combination with original and stock footage, the film relays a shadow play narrative essay on wireless connection, snail slime, and embodiment. Intended as a sort of "Ken Burns from the fifth dimension" documentary, Sympathetic Fluids aims to expose the distant past, present, and speculative future of both humanity and gastropod alike. 

The film was produced with support from The Claremont Colleges, and features narration from Jon White, Peter Coates, and Autumn Teague. All stock footage commercially licensed through Envato Elements or used within the public domain. All music and other visuals originals composed by the artist. The film is currently in festival submissions and will premiere online at a later date.
