MOZAIK Future Art Award Winner 2021

After receiving a special mention in 2020's Future Art Awards from MOZAIK Philanthropy (for my work Myself When I am Not Real), I have this year been selected as a winner of the 2021 awards for my work Pop Song. Myself, nine other featured artists, and 40 special mention works feature in this year's virtual exhibition that probes the theme of reimagining democracy. From the exhibition catalogue:

"[Re-imagining democracy] was articulated at a moment when the limits and possibilities of American democracy came into sharp relief. The impacts of a global pandemic, contested national elections, and mass protests for racial justice and civil rights across the country revealed fissures in our democratic system."
